Cats lack carbohydrate-digesting enzyme called Amylase in their saliva. Amylase in the intestine secreted from the pancreas helps to break down large carbohydrate molecules into absorbable smaller units of glucose.

Exercise

To get a cat to exercise is difficult, hence you should find more interactive playtime for them. You can add some interactive toys in their play and get them indulge.
